A bicycle racing velodrome, renowned as one of the best in the world today, sits in what was once a small cornfield in Eastern Pennsylvania. Founded by olympian Bob Rodale in 1974, this started out as nothing but a banked concrete oval, and yet world-class legends quickly showed to marvel at this ever-growing track cycling empire. In the present, though track cycling has lost it's luster since the days when hundreds of millions of people lined up to watch, this great concrete crater has developed into a booming hub of excitement and adrenaline for both the racers and the fans.
