Mayflower State University

The Mayflower State University was established in January of 1949 as a public university system of the State of Mayflower through the consolidation of the City University of Lander and the Mersea Community College after decision by the state legislature to consolidate all municipal colleges and universities into one larger body to accommodate military personnel returning from the Second Great War to their studies at home. Today, the Mayflower State University is the second largest public university system in the Union of Columbia, and as of today it enrolls about 27,100 students a year. Its largest campus resides in the Town of Mersea. The Mayflower State University consists of the Mayflower Institute of Law, Mayflower Institute of Criminal Justice and the Mayflower College of Mathematics as anchor faculty. Today, the Mayflower State University acts as the state-level education body of the State of Mayflower.
