Stop it before it spreads.” The Criminal Interdiction Unit operates under BCII as a specialized enforcement team focused on identifying and preventing suspicious activity along major travel routes. CIU personnel are trained in advanced traffic awareness, behavioral observation, concealment detection, and high-risk roadside operations. This unit focuses on what others overlook—monitoring roadways, travel patterns, and vehicle behavior to identify threats and support broader investigative operations before incidents escalate. “The road tells a story.
