The Game of Life is a simulation game made by British mathematician John Conway. Instead of players controlling it directly, the game evolves based on the starting conditions you set. The goal is to see how the grid of cells changes over time. The world in this game is an infinite grid, where each square (or cell) can either be 'alive' or 'dead'. Cells interact with their neighbors (the eight cells around them) to determine if they survive, die, or come to life in the next round. Any live cell with fewer than 2 live neighbors dies, as if by underpopulation. Any live cell with 2 or 3 live neighbors lives on to the next generation. Any live cell with more than 3 live neighbors dies, as if by overpopulation. Any dead cell with exactly 3 live neighbors becomes a live cell, as if by reproduction.
